Crows forward Jake Stringer, who came to Australia after the World Cup, admitted he had lost control in the third term of the match last Saturday night at the MCG, resulting in his skipper suffering a knee injury. He said he was out for around a week after the match and would not be back for the finals.
Crows players are allowed to talk to the media once an incident is reported. However, a team captain will not be on the radio for longer than three minutes at any given time and that must be re-cued by the ref in the broadcast.
“I’m a bit embarrassed by it and I shouldn’t have done it,” Stringer said on his Twitter page on Monday afternoon. “But I’ll do my best to get right back in, I just have to accept that. It’s just one bad night out and I’ll try to play it back to the game next week as if nothing happened.
“I’ve only had a day out in a couple of wee타이 마사지ks so there’s no rush. It’s about coming back to th홀덤e game the same way as you came back.”
On Tuesday morning, AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan said he hoped all parties involved would be able to “rest easy” following the incident.
But former player Matthew Suckling said a week after an incident occurred that he still experienced back pain after a run down the line.
“The whole day you can get headaches and you can see some stiffness in some of the places you 골목normally just don’t have. You just get some fatigue in there, you’ve got it worse,” he told AFL 360 on Wednesday.
